The Stonehenge School House System
The aim of the House System is to provide every pupil in each house with the following:
- A sense of belonging within the school community
- Opportunities to develop social, intellectual, physical and practical skills
- A sense of achievement both inside and outside of the classroom
- Fun and excitement through competition
- Opportunities for student leadership
On arrival at the school pupils are given a House. The pupils compete weekly and termly in House challenges (weekly in tutor time, PE events, E-Sports, fundraising etc) and points from those plus their PARS, attendance and Tassomai points are combined to find winners of the termly House competition. Pupils are kept up to date where their house stands by a weekly video sent for tutors to play. In academic Year 2022-23 the House team will appoint Heads of Houses and form leadership committees. There are 4 houses and they are named after local monuments or features. Here are the details:

Barrow House
Head of House: Mr Waterman

Motto: “In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity”
Sarum House
Head of House: Miss Bowen
Colour: Blue
Motto: “Together Everyone Achieves More”
Solstice House
Head of House: Mr Wood
Colour: Yellow
Motto: “The sun never sets on Solstice”
