'Youthspeaks' - Rotary Competition

Three Year 10 students took part in ‘Youthspeaks’, Hampshire’s Rotary Club Public Speaking competition this week. The Speaker was Liam Pardoe, who was supported by Tom Brown the Proposer of the vote, and Louis McGrail the Chairperson. Their topic this year comically explored the state of travel catering, from Roadside services to the food provided by airlines. Their delivery was professional and well-polished, with an air of sophistication, allowing them to fully demonstrate their skills in a formal context. Particular highlights include the advice provided to a range of airlines and caterers, and a specific anecdote regarding an edible shoe!
