Chris Scott talks about Motor Neurone Disease Awareness month

As part of Motor Neurone Disease Awareness month, Chris Scott who suffers from the condition gave his first of two assemblies to Years 7 and 8. Freshly back from a once in a lifetime tour of America following Route 66 (and meeting Bear Grylls), Chris has just completed the Durrington triathlon using specialist equipment to complete the gruelling task to raise money for the research needed to find a cure. Having already taken part in our BBC School Report, we invited Chris in to inform all of our students about the condition to raise awareness, and to pass on his key sense of 'taking small steps to overcome any mountain'.
